YSL Media is a creative studio for social media, based in Romania. We respect your privacy and process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Romanian law.
This notice explains what data we receive when you contact us, how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have.
1. What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through the contact page or by email, we only receive what you choose to share:
- Your name, so we can address you.
- Your email address, so we can reply.
- Your brand or company, to understand the context.
- The service you are interested in and an optional budget, to prepare a relevant proposal.
- Your message and any details you add.
We do not collect payment card data or special categories of data, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
2. How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To prepare a proposal based on the scope you describe.
- To send a follow-up about your enquiry if needed.
- To keep records of our conversations and agreements.
We do not use your enquiry for unsolicited marketing and we do not build advertising audiences from it.
3. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your request and, where we work together, because it is necessary to prepare or perform a contract. For any other communication we will ask for your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your data. We only use service providers needed to run the studio:
- Our email provider, to receive and answer messages.
- Our website hosting provider, to run this website.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only for clients whose campaigns we manage, and only as needed for those campaigns.
These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. How long we keep it
If we do not start working together, we delete enquiries within 24 months. If we do, we keep related records for the duration of the collaboration and for any period required by law, for example for accounting.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards required by GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data where the law allows.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).

9. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may store small technical values needed for the site to work, such as whether the opening animation has already played.
